Introduction

Kodura ("we," "our," or "us") operates mobile applications and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Services.

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

We may collect information you voluntarily provide when using our Services, such as when you contact us for support. This may include your name, email address, and the content of your message.

Automatically collected information

We may collect certain information automatically when you use our Services, including device type, operating system version, app version, and crash data. This information is used solely to improve the reliability and performance of our Services.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect precise location data, browsing history, or contacts. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that track you across apps or websites. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
  • Respond to your support requests and inquiries
  • Identify and fix bugs, errors, and crashes
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

We process your information only when we have a legitimate reason to do so, such as providing you with the Services you requested, fulfilling a legal obligation, or with your consent.

Third-Party Services

Our Services may use third-party services for essential functionality such as crash reporting or anonymous usage analytics. These services may collect limited information as described in their own privacy policies.

We carefully evaluate all third-party services for their privacy practices before integrating them. We do not use any third-party services whose primary purpose is advertising or cross-app tracking.

Data Storage and Security

Where possible, data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. When data transmission is required, we use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) to protect your information in transit and at rest.

While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Support correspondence is retained for up to 24 months. Crash and diagnostic data is retained for up to 12 months.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate personal information
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information
  • Portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your data
  • Restriction: Request that we restrict processing of your data
  • Objection: Object to our processing of your personal information

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@kodura.io. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@kodura.io. Upon receiving your request, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

If our apps offer account functionality, you will also be able to request deletion directly within the app settings.

Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us at privacy@kodura.io.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the country in which you reside. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws of your country. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your personal information remains protected in accordance with this policy.

California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

European Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the legal bases of contract performance, legitimate interests, and consent where applicable. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
